Candy Cane Puffs
1 box white cake mix (+ ingredients needed to make cake)
1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
6 T. butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 full size candy cane, crushed
Prepare white cake mix per the directions on the box adding the peppermint extract before beating. Fill cupcake liners 2/3 full of cake batter and bake according to directions. Cool 5 minutes. Melt butter. Mix sugar and candy cane in a separate small bowl. Dip cupcakes in melted butter and then in sugar/candy mixture.
