Mushrooms are a good source of potassium.  A 3-ounce portabello mushroom cap contains more potassium than a banana.

They are an excellent source of selenium which studies have shown help decrease prostate cancer by 60%.  Selenium also works as an antioxidant to protect body cells from damage that might lead to heart disease.

Mushrooms contain vitamin B which help provide energy, help maintain healthy red blood cells and help promote healthy skin.  Among produce they are also the only source of vitamin D.
