I needed something sweet this week, so I baked a cake and topped it with this easy, no-cook frosting.
White Almond Frosting
4 Tablespoons margarine or butter, softened
1 teaspoon almond extract
2 cups powdered sugar
3 Tablespoons milk
Beat margarine in medium bowl for a few seconds. Add the almond extract and half the powdered sugar and half the milk. Beat until combined and then add rest of the powdered sugar and milk. Beat until creamy. (If frosting is too thick, add a little more milk; if it is too thin, add a little more powdered sugar.) This makes enough frosting to cover a 9x13" cake.

If you really like almond flavoring, add a teaspoon of almond extract to your cake mix as well. Yum!
Mmmm, I do like Almond Flavoring. Some time soon I would like to try the flavoring in the cake and frosting.
