What's For Dinner

I've decided to add a new heading -- What's For Dinner.  I find it very helpful if I plan at least a week's worth of meals ahead of time.  If I can plan for the next month, that is even better.  In that way, I'm not coming home from work not knowing what I am going to cook for dinner.  It also helps remind me that I may have to take something out of our freezer to unthaw ahead of time.   Of course, my list is not set in stone.  Let's face it; sometimes the cook is just too tired to be in the kitchen!!  Or maybe there still are leftovers to use up. Or maybe there is a better offer!!  Whatever the case, allow yourself to be flexible.

So. . . here is the list of the meals that I am planning on making this week for dinner.  I hope it helps to give you some ideas for you and your family!

*Spaghetti, salad, pears, rolls

*Chicken Rice Casserole, green beans, apples

*Sloppy Joes, Sweet Potato Fries, pineapple, pickles

*Macaroni and Cheese (homemade), salad, strawberries, rolls

Pork Roast

*Tuna Noodle Casserole, asparagus, cantaloupe, Toasted Breads

*Eggs, hasbrowns, pancakes, sausage, oranges (yes, sometimes we have breakfast for dinner!)

*Pork Roast, mashed potatoes, carrots, bananas



Sometimes the veggies or fruit will change, depending on what is on sale for the week.
