Lemons have many uses.  For example, if your whipping cream doesn't get stiff, you can add a few drops of the juice of a lemon.   Per Reader's Digest, here are some other uses for lemon:

Polish chrome

Keep rice from sticking 

Refresh cutting boards

Make soggy lettuce crisp

Deodorize your garbage disposal
