Did you know that you don't need to buy those expensive flavored oatmeal packets? You can make your own and it's so simple to do.
Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal*
1/3 cup regular oats (not instant)
1/4 teaspoons cinnamon
1 1/2 Tablespoons diced apple (no need to peel)
1/3 cup milk
1/3 cup water
brown sugar
In a microwaveable quart bowl mix oats and cinnamon. Stir in apples, milk and water. Place in microwave and cook on high 2 1/2 to 3 minutes. Stir; sprinkle top with brown sugar and enjoy!
Servings: 1 serving
