Health and Fitness

Strawberries are high in vitamin C and are also an excellent source of vitamin K and manganese, as well as folic acid, potassium, riboflavin, vitamin B5, vitamin B6, copper, magnesium and omega-3 fatty acids.

Because of the vitamins and minerals in strawberries as well as containing phytochemicals and antioxidants they help improve immune function, help fight cancer, help prevent birth defects and also help to protect the heart.

So. . . go ahead and eat a handful or make a smoothie or add some to your morning cereal -- they're good for you!
