Oregano Rice

This is so simple to make and so much healthier than those packaged rice mixes.  Give it a try and tell me what you think.

Oregano Rice

2 cups water
1 cup uncooked rice
2 Tablespoons butter
4 teaspoons chicken bouillon powder
2 teaspoons dried minced onion
3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
pepper (a few shakes)

In a 2 quart sauce pan, bring water to a boil.  Add rest of ingredients, stir, and lower heat.  Simmer, covered, for 20 minutes.  Fluff with a fork and let it set for 5 minutes before serving.
