Answer: Richard Cadbury of the well-known British candy manufacturing company did not create the first heart-shaped box but he was the first one to produce it. He was very artistic and many of his designs came from his own paintings. There are still some original Richard Cadbury valentine boxes in existence today and are highly valued by collectors.
