Beef Italian Gravy

Today I am making a roast in my slow cooker for dinner.  I threw in some carrots and potatoes and this wonderful gravy.  All I need to do for dinner tonight is cut up some fresh fruit.  How easy is that?!

Beef Italian Gravy

1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup flour
1 1/2 cups water
3 beef bouillon cubes
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 (dry) pkt. Italian salad dressing

In a small saucepan, melt butter.  Whisk in flour to make a roux.



Cook for 1 minute.  Add the rest of the ingredients.  Bring to a boil while continuing to whisk.  Cook on low until desired thickness.



Servings:  1 1/2 cups gravy
